Registration is open for C.A.S.T.’s Make the Change: 6th Annual Fundraiser! Get tickets or sponsor the event here.
You are invited to Citizens Against Sex Trafficking’s event on October 23rd, 2025. Join us as we raise funds to protect our children and end sexual exploitation in our community.
This event includes a silent auction, special appeals, games, and a plated dinner. Business/Business-Casual Attire.
Because of you, we can continue to protect youth with our prevention training.
Because of you, we can continue to equip parents on how to protect their children.
Because of you, we have the opportunity to launch our district wide staff training to teach all school district staff how to identify and appropriately respond to signs of exploitation of students at school.
Join us as we move our mission forward. Together, we can end exploitation BEFORE it begins!

4th Annual Golf Fundraiser
Registration is NOW OPEN for C.A.S.T.'s (Citizens Against Sex Trafficking) 4th Annual Golf Fundraiser! You are invited to a day full of sun, fellowship, prizes, and friendly competition while raising funds to prevent sexual exploitation in our community.
✅ The money we raise for this year's golf fundraiser will go to our youth education program — teaching middle and high school students internet safety, understanding healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, and how to ask for help if they need it.

✅ We are currently looking for individual or corporate sponsors for this event! Our registration capacity is 144 golfers and depending on your partnership level, your name could be in front of 1,400+ people because of our organization's reach in the community and online.

CRIM 241: Victimology Student Showcase
UW River Falls CRIM 241: Victimology students have been working on newsletters that include peer-reviewed, evidence-based information on sexual exploitation topics with a prevention focus. This valuable work will be shared with C.A.S.T. for inclusion in our newsletter, Preventative Power: Hope in Motion.

St. Joseph Catholic Church - Your Life Matters
The lesson “Your Life Matters” focuses on suicide and bullying prevention, this is open to everyone 6th grade and older.
Two sessions will run simultaneously—one tailored for youth and another for adults. The adult session is based on the lesson created for youth, providing parents and community members with valuable skills and conversations to support and protect our young people.

We have multiple Power Over Predators presentations coming up and we need your help preparing the materials (presenting to hundreds of students!). We will meet at the C.A.S.T office (address to come once you sign up!)
We are hoping to do these prep days each month next year as C.A.S.T.'s POP programming continues to grow and in order to meet the needs of our schools and students!
What are the tasks? Numbering pre and post surveys, stapling paper, organizing materials.

Woodbury Expo
🏫 Hosted by @woodburymnchamber, celebrate more than 10 years of bringing together commerce and community by attending this family-friendly event. You can visit with a variety of local businesses and organizations and also enjoy some tasty food from local restaurants. 🍕 🌮 🍜
✅ C.A.S.T. will have a booth in the main gym — come visit us, spin the trivia wheel, & find out how you can be a part of the anti-trafficking movement! The trivia wheel has thoughtful questions that are appropriate for all ages. 💙 ✨
✅ Why is C.A.S.T. participating in this event? The Community Expo is a fantastic way to connect with neighbors and invite them into the conversation surrounding the realities of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation taking place in the East Metro of the Twin Cities. We believe that every person has the ability to learn about the problem and be a part of the solution.

Sexual Exploitation Prevention Community Meeting
As part of ISD 622’s ongoing efforts to provide a safe and secure environment for their students, they are hosting a virtual informational meeting in partnership with local law enforcement on the serious issues of sexual exploitation, and online safety. This meeting is designed to help arm both parents and students with the knowledge needed to stay safe and aware.
During the meeting, local law enforcement and community experts from the Citizens Against Sex Trafficking (C.A.S.T.) organization will cover the following topics:
Warning signs of human trafficking and sexual exploitation
How to discuss online safety with your child and set appropriate boundaries
How to recognize online grooming behaviors and potential risks
Steps to take if you suspect your child may be at risk
The safety of our children is a shared responsibility and we strongly encourage all families to attend. Please RSVP through the link HERE and we will reply with a virtual meeting link.
