Sexual Exploitation Prevention Community Meeting

As part of ISD 622’s ongoing efforts to provide a safe and secure environment for their students, they are hosting a virtual informational meeting in partnership with local law enforcement on the serious issues of sexual exploitation, and online safety. This meeting is designed to help arm both parents and students with the knowledge needed to stay safe and aware.

During the meeting, local law enforcement and community experts from the Citizens Against Sex Trafficking (C.A.S.T.) organization will cover the following topics:

  • Warning signs of human trafficking and sexual exploitation

  • How to discuss online safety with your child and set appropriate boundaries

  • How to recognize online grooming behaviors and potential risks

  • Steps to take if you suspect your child may be at risk

The safety of our children is a shared responsibility and we strongly encourage all families to attend. Please RSVP through the link HERE and we will reply with a virtual meeting link.
